2017 Spring Summer Baseball/Softball



Welcome to the 2017 Spring/Summer Registration with the Lake in the Hills Youth Athletic Association!

This registration session will allow you to input contact information, player background, sign consents and submit payment.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account from Lake in the Hills Youth Athletic Association. The LITHYAA would like to accommodate everyone to the best of our ability. If you need to make an alternate form of payment, registrations are not able to be completed online.  You will need to contact the VP of Registration, for additional instructions.

Note: In addition to the fees paid for registration, every family will be required to participate in a league fundraiser.  Further details will be given at the player/parent meeting held in March.

Family Discount

If you are registering more than one player in your family this season, you will receive a $20.00 discount on the second (and third, if applicable) child's registration fee.  In order for the registration system to recognize that your family is registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time.  On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your family's players are registered within the same order.

Q: When does the season start?

A: Opening day is April, 29th for most leagues.  Major girls and Senior boys will start at a later date.  Contact the Director of the league in question for additional details.  Practices typically start the last week of March or first week in April based on weather, coaches discretion and field availability.

Q: When does the season end?

A: The season will run through the end of June, with playoffs taking place the last week and possibly into the first few days of July.

Q: When are games held?

A: There will usually be one weekday game and one Saturday game. 

Q: Are there try-outs?

A: Midgets, Mytes and Fillies are randomly picked.  Friend and Coach requests are taken and the staff does it’s best to accommodate those requests when forming the teams.

For the remaining leagues we have evaluations, which look at the players ability to field a ball, pitching, hitting and throwing. 

All other levels have evaluations and are tentatively scheduled at PCA - Lake in the Hills.  Minor boys are scheduled for Saturday, March 4th from 8-4.  Major boys are on Sunday, March 5th from 8-12, Ponytail and Minor girls are on Sunday, March 5th from 12-4.  During registration you are given the opportunity to select the time that works best for you.  Pony and Senior boys and Major girls will be contacted for their evaluation information.

Q: When will I know what team I’m on?

A: The coaches will compile the information from the evaluations.  They will then hold a draft, which will form the teams.  All of this is done prior to the Parent meeting / meet your team night in mid March.  If you haven’t gotten a call from a coach by the parent meeting in mid March please contact the  Director of the League in question.

Q: Are there other expenses I should be aware of?

A:  The league holds an annual fundraiser, which is announced at the parent meeting in March.  In the past we have sold raffle tickets that follow the Illinois lottery daily pick 4 game. 

Q: What is the refund policy?

No Refunds will be offered after the Parent Meeting night or after uniforms have been issued except for the case of injuries.  In the case of injuries a request must be made in writing and then the refund may be prorated and subject to Board approval.

Q: Can my child play up?

A: The age requirements for each league are set up for their safety as well as the safety of the others.  The LITHYAA has made the exception for kids to play up based on their grade but must still be within the age requirements of the league, which are posted on the registration page.
